I feel very confident about giving high quality piano instruction to you or your child. The many academic degrees, continuos attendance to a high number of workshops and classes, and more than 50 years of experience have contributed to make me know that I can do a very good job. (Yes, I'm "that" old... and going strong!)
Currently most of my students are school age children and young adults. I'm open to start a good and vibrant group of older students who can come in the morning for lessons with a likewise "older" teacher. Fun to be highly expected!
The main issue here, as with many other relationships, is what people call "chemistry". We both must feel good about each other.
Length of lessons—45 minutes
I reserve 45 minutes of my time for every student. At the beginning many young children might not be able to stay focused and centered for that length of time. The rest of the time may be used by the parent for questions or hands on experience of what is being taught or expected.
Students beyond Book 7 of the Suzuki Repertoire
One little perk...
Advanced students will continue to pay for 45 minute lesson but I will schedule at least one hour for them. It has been my tradition!
